Melian was a Maia of the
race of the Valar, she lived in
the gardens of Lorien there was no one more
beautiful
in the world than Melian, nor anyone who knew better
the songs of
enchantment than she.
It is said that the Valar stopped working, the birds
stopped singing, the sources stopped flowing and everything was silent when
Melian sang in Lorien.
It is said that she taught the nightingales to sing, she loved the deep shadows
of the trees. They say that Melian resembled Yavanna herself.
When the journey was about to end the village of the Teleri rest in the lands of Eastern Beleriand beyond the Gelion river; By that time many of the Noldor were to the west.
The forests in which they rested were named after Neldoreth and Elwe Region.
The Lord of the Teleri crossed great forests in search of his friend Finwe, sought him in the dwellings of the Noldor, but neither did he find his friend.
In a moment he came alone to the forest of Nan Elmoth illuminated by the stars, when suddenly he heard the song of the nightingales and a charm fell on him, this enchantment made him remain still. In the distance beyond the voices of the Lomelindi he heard the voice of Melean, his heart filled with wonder and forgot his people, his friend and his purposes that guided him.
Following the birds until I penetrate deeply into Han Eliot.
Until I reached a clear starlight and there was Melean, he watched her from the dark and saw her face in the light of Aman.
He did not say a word, and in his shock Elwe came and took his hand as soon as a spell fell on him.
So the two of them remained while the stars circled around them, and the trees grew larger and thicker before either of them said any words.
The town of Elwe looked for him but could never find it and Olwe was king of the Teleri.
It is said that Elwe never returned through the sea of Valinor. While Melean did not return there while the two reigned together.
Years later he became a renowned king who commanded all the Elder de Velarían; Were called: the Sindar, the gray Elves, the Elves of the twilight and he was the King of gray cloak.
As King Elu Thingol was called in tongues of that land and Melian was the wisest queen.
Melian gave great power to Thingol to be great among the Eldar because only he
had seen with his own eyes the trees on the day of flowering and although he
was king among the Moriquendi was not counted as King there but King among the
Elves of the light
From the love of thingol and Melian came to the world the most beautiful of all the children of Iluvatar.

I can understand that it is a mythological narrative Although it seems a bit confusing story about characters, but I believe that read the book with thoroughness and good understanding certaintly will be incredible story.
